Recently a friend asked for some advice on concealers, and so I decided to do this post.  Concealers can have multiple uses when applying makeup.  They can conceal dark circles, hide scars and acne, and also can help with contouring your face.  I generally use my concealer to hide those imperfections on a daily basis since I don’t put use foundation daily which means I have to buy concealers more frequently than any other makeup product.  My top 3 FAV concealers: Read More…

  1.  Bobbi Brown creamy concealer (this one is used generally for contouring for me)
  2. Tarte the eraser 4, in 1 concealer (this one is great if you have sensitive skin that tends to break out since Tarte products are very gentle on the skin)
  3. Clinique Line Smoothing concealer (my daily go-to concealer, totally amazing.)

When applying the concealer it really does matter how you apply it, which is based on what the consistency of the concealer (liquid vs. cream)  You would not believe how much of your concealer can be wiped off when applied incorrectly which defeats the purpose of using the product.  Do invest in a good concealer brush, or a sponge if you can.

There is a lot more to concealers, and I’ve covered just a very personal note on them, if you have specific questions, please send them to eatprayshop@gmail.com.  If you guys have recommendations leave them on the comments, and everyone can share from each others knowledge.

I use a brush for my concealer, how do you use yours?
