After doing last weeks post I thought I would share some things you guys could use naturally to keep your hair healthy. There are some ingredients that you can add to your hair care regime to help taming your mane:
1. Coconut oil
2. Avocado
3. Egg
4. Yogurt
5. Beer
Try experimenting with any of these ingredients to find the right hair care regime for you!!!

There are always trends in hair care, and the most recent is Keratin straightening. I was a person who in the past had succumbed to a trend by doing Japanese hair straightening, and while short term it was great, long term I regret that I did it. I feel like most products I buy now is to reverse damage done to my hair. Heat and Chemical can really kill the health of hair, so when choosing to do such treatments one needs to think LONG TERM!
Before thinking of doing Keratin treatment at a salon which involves heat to set in the product, I would suggest go to your local drugstore and you will find lots of products with Keratin (it is a protein) such as shampoos, conditioners, leave in treatments.. etc.

I have told you guys that I went a bit overboard with shopping in Forest Essentials I am going to share with you a product that I am going nuts about!!
I have fallen in love with a product by them, the Luscious Lip Balm Sugared Rose Petal

I don’t usually use lip balms, I like them on the stick format, but rose scents are so fabulous and they didn’t have a stick format so I had to buy this product.

Opening the product is fun in itself, the packaging I have to say is great.
Unfortunately the product is not large in quantity, in fact disappointing in that sense.

I do love the product even though there is not a lot of it, it feels great on the lips and the smell is AMAZING!!! Now that I love it, I now know that I have to stock up next time in India!!!

One product A LOT of beauty bloggers love is Chanel’s bronzer Soleil Tan De Chanel, and truth be told it is a great product (but….). This is a fabulous bronzer in terms of consistency (seriously blends soooo well). One of the great things about it is that it is a cream bronzer, so it helps achieve a very dewy look.
The one negative which for me is a huge negative about the Chanel bronzer is that in terms of giving color it really does not pack a punch in pigment. If you are super pale or fair, this is a great bronzer however if you are like me and have a natural tan you need a more pigmented bronzer. Most bronzers are powder based and I actually love cream bronzers so for a great substitute from the Chanel bronzer try my favorite bronzer which is Too Faced Aqua Bunny Bronzer (which by the way is getting harder and harder to find)! This bronzer is powder to cream, and is unbelievable.

I don’t have to tell you how fabulous the Naked Palette from Urban Decay is, because as you guys know I can’t live without it, and it has been written about over and over again by EVERYONE. What makes it great is the fact that most colors you need are in the palette, but in terms of consistency it might not be the best. Recently at the Dolce and Gabbana makeup counter I found amazing quad eyeshadows. Unfortunately as you can see you are going to have to buy a few of them to make the amount you get in the Naked Palette, however I really can not tell you how well these blend. The best part is that they are not super powdery and give you a creamy look without being creamy. If you have oily lids this is an AMAZING product! Again this really is an expensive product, but if you are willing to splurge I would strongly recommend it. Also remember for its money’s worth the Naked Palette is just AMAZING!

I am going to share a great beauty tip for beginners that can really help make your makeup look great. Most women are afraid of looking like clowns, especially when it comes to blush and eyeshadow. When they apply makeup they tend to apply with a very light hand for the fear of over applying makeup. You should always apply bronzers and blushes with light hands and layer on. If at any point you feel like you have applied too much of either, don’t remove all your makeup and start over again, just take a powder brush and blend out. The same for eyeshadow take a brush that has no makeup on it, and just blend the excess off…

I know you guys loved the eyebrow post, I loved doing it as well, and like I promised I will expand on how I have thickened my eyebrows. While makeup artists mostly create an illusion by filling their eyebrows to achieve this natural look, I actually have been trying to grow out my eyebrows. To most, who have never tried to grow out their eyebrows, let me tell you it is super tough, and a LOOONG process. I have been doing this since DECEMBER! Now I have heard that there are creams that actually are there to stimulate new hair growth but as a person who has hair removal done on your eyebrows, this seems kind of well let’s say pointless. I thought I would just go through how I went about it.

January and February are pretty slow months socially for me, and I try to stay away from any heat on my hair. To reverse some damage I try to do some home remedy’s on my hair. I thought I would share a product that I am trying and loving! Forrest Essentials ayurvedic herb enriched head massage oil sugandha.

This product comes from a store in India called Forrest Essentials which you can compare to the US based stores Fresh. I think in the future you will see some more reviews of products from Forrest Essentials, because I went a little nuts in there. This oil is really great for the scalp and I have noticed a huge difference in my hair, it seems so much healthier and longer. There is a negative to this product which is the smell (think old stale Indian left over oil). If you are in India next time do check out Forrest Essentials!

In my previous post a few weeks back, I had said that I would be reviewing bb creams for you guys, here is another review of a bb cream and probably my last one!

I decided to test out Tarte’s BB cream because I generally have been happy with many of their products in the past. I liked this bb cream much more than the previous Dior one I had tried. This one did not feel heavy on my skin and felt more like a primer than a foundation. It also has four color options. I unfortunately need to use two of the colors together to get the right color for me (light and medium). The use of concealer is also still needed.
I know I had said that I would test a few BB creams, but have decided not to, basically because I don’t see the point of them. However here is a link to a beauty bloggers extensive review, if you guys want to see truthful reviews of BB creams.
I also want to say I look forward to hearing about your experience with BB creams. Do share if you have used one (or have figured out the point of one).
