Ok guys so I am actually off to India, and this was a sudden decision. I will be gone a few weeks, and I promise to post at least once a week. I can’t promise the 4x because it will be a bit insane, but I promise to keep you guys updated. Recently there was buzz about Freida Pinto signing an endorsement deal which caused many comments in India, and surprisingly not such positive responses. There is no doubt that Freida Pinto is known as a beautiful woman in USA, however her beauty is still debated in India. How can opinion differ so much? Well Indians have a very differing point of view on beauty. In fact Indians rarely display pride on Freida’s success (beauty queens however are a different story).

I happen to thing this woman is GORGEOUS! What I love about Freida is that she has not gone the general Bollywood actress route in getting color contacts or wearing too much makeup (I am not talking about fashion shoots obviously). She accentuates her natural features and generally is placed on best dress lists. Bollywood and all South Asian women should take some pointers from this girl, she has the world in awe, now if Indians could support her too….

This time last week while the East Coast was shutting down and preparing for a natural disaster, my area was on a voluntary evacuation. I was preparing on packing a bag, but I was planning on sneaking more than what the red cross suggested. I couldn’t help but care about some of my materialistic goods which I could not see damaged for the life of me. Thought I would share them:

I am back from the south of France. It was a relatively quick getaway compared to some of my past trips. I tried to do research but to be honest it did feel like a hasty trip. All I had was a list of restaurants to try, with some room for some spontaneous eating moments as well.
