Last Thursday was the third annual Fashion Night Out in NY.  I can proudly say I have been going every year since it started in 2009 (my first one was in New Delhi).  For those of you who have never gone to any of the events and are wondering what it is, I am going to tell you the truth.  It is one big carnival in NYC full of celebrities, socialites, and common people who are put together in shops in Manhattan.  Is this the purpose of Fashion Night Out?  No, it is meant to promote retail but take it from someone who has gone to the stores on this night; this is the worst night to shop!  The stores are crowded, and most of them have free booze, which is always a bad combination for shopping.  Why go?  To be honest I might not have bought anything that night, but did a few days later.  Between people watching and hoping someone is watching you, you will glance at the racks of clothing.  For some images from FNO continue reading… Continue reading »
