Happy Friday Guys! I know you all love Manish Malhotra so I thought for today’s post I would share this pic of Sonam Kapoor in Manish Malhotra walking for his Colgate Visible White Collection. The outfit looks great on her, and she is styled well!
Ok that first part was for the Manish Malhotra LOVERS, this second part is for logic… now seriously I might have missed this, but why did Manish Malhotra design a whole lot of clothes for a dental company? Why not design dental products?

Just when I thought I was done with fashion shows, I ushered some excitement (barely) for Wills India Fashion Week in New Delhi. The good thing about the collections were there were not as many as New York or Paris.
Anand Kabra was sellable and safe
Don’t know Poonam Bhagat’s work too well but liked what was presented overall
Surily Goel proved its not how good you are, but how good your networking skills are
Payal Pratap had one of my more favorite collections.
AM:PM was a pretty decent collection without any color
Annaika’s collection was just something that has been done before a thousand times
Dev R Nil was kind of blah
You can bet you will be seeing this Dozakh dress on the red carpet
I honestly don’t know what Kavita Bhartia was thinking!
I put a Manish Malhotra outfit more so for the readers

I think the term frenemie might have been conceived in 1947, when there was a partition. Over the years both countries have had good and bad influences on each other. Fashion has always been a blurred line… however this past year Indian fashion saw Pakistani designers come into India. With exhibitions in New Delhi with the tag lines of Pakistani suits, I was wondering whether it was a fad or maybe a new trend. This past fashion week in New Delhi might hint that its definitely more than a fad.

One last thing in New Delhi Pakistani designers are being coveted! What is left to see, are Pakistani designers competition for Indian designers? Would love to hear your guys opinion!

When I heard India’s fashion week started while New York’s fashion week didn’t even end, I was quite surprised since I know that the buyers would not be able to make it to New Delhi since they were still making the rounds from N.Y to London. I am still wondering why in this global age did the fashion week organizers in India disregard international buyers? Are Indian designers only focusing on India because there is so much business, or did they fail with International buyers in the past and find them unnecessary now?
