This last pic of the guest at Paris Couture Week is my ULTIMATE in styling!  I love it beyond words!  What I love about the India inspired jewelry is that it represents India in the right way without hurting anyone’s sentiments, unlike the Hindu Bhagwans on everything from tee’s to bags.

You know you heard about peplum here first, and now look what a trend it has become.  It is still featured in the shows of some of the big labels, so we know we will be seeing this trend into next year.  I thought I would share a trend that is creeping up, and you will definitely be hearing and seeing!

Did you figure out I was talking about the corset?  The waists were cinched and the breasts were… well they are models, but you get the point.  Looking at Zac Posen you know not all corset looks have their shoulder and arms bare, but that was the general trend.  This is a look that can go sexy (Alexander Mcqueen image has to be my favorite) to really GLAM!  Think Dita Von Teese meets Grace Kelly!  I actually like this trend and recently Oliva Munn made an appearance in a corset dress which was featured in my fav looks.  What do you guys think of this look?

I have never seen so many designers present resort collections as this year (and if they did I clearly was not paying attention).  My favorites were Zac Posen, Dsquared, Bottega Veneta, Chloe, and Zero+Maria Cornejo

With the resort collections, most of the designers were moving away from fun and flirty which we saw plenty in 2011, and 2012.  They seemed to be moving towards more of sleek and glamorous with a feel of sporty.  The designers who didn’t really use lace in their collections I had the most admiration for!
